So, guess what. It looks like we are finally matching babies, not we, they, CCAA-China, for families LID in 2006. That's right, it's almost the third month of 2008 and we are finally getting in to 2006. Rumor has it, it's about four days into the new year of 2006. I guess it's progress.
Enough said, I'd rather stare at my niece Addie.

Yay...progress!! Addie is precious!

Anonnie here… Okay, we have got way too much stuff we share… international adoption, Jewish, Hillary, and the girls (Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha). I bet you even went to sleep away camp! In any event – I’m local– right in Westchester County just out of NYC. Been a whirlwind week with Monday’s news of my referral. It’s all still so surreal. The paperwork allows me to not focus on the emotion – which is a good thing. No room for too much emotion when you have to focus on the paperwork and get things in order both at home and at work. I won’t lie. I feel guilty sharing my wonderful news with someone who has waiting for her daughter longer. For me, it was 7 months (to the day) from registration. The time preceding that was 8 months. My heart breaks for you and everyone else who continues to wait. Please know I think of you (and the others) often. This is a random journey – regardless of how utterly personal it all is. Isn’t everything in life so random? Even like crossing paths in blog land… just random moments. I do have a website and will send you an invitation (it’s password protected) to your email address. In the meantime… take care, hold tight – and keep on loving all the wonderful people you so joyfully discuss on your heartfelt blog. You are one lucky woman with all these people in your life. And just imagine – all that love will overflow onto another human being who will one day call you “Ma”. Best, Anonnie.
Oh Anonnie. You are so sweet. I am so happy for you. Do I get a tang of jealous when I hear of others getting their referrals or getting pregnant. I do. But, I get over it quickly and celebrate with everyone! I know it's only natural for me to feel ths way, so I don't beat myself up for it. I can't wait to hear about your story.
I am so happy you found me. And I didn't go to overnight camp, but my sister still does (lol)so that counts!!! xo
